Colour: Be Found In The Expo

God’s presence is thick in this place. Without even stepping foot into conference you can feel His presence throughout the hallways. I really enjoy serving because you get to experience the behind the scenes and the heart behind the conference. You get to see relationships being formed, and the excitement on individual’s faces as they are blessed in different ways. And I love getting to catch up with friends that I haven’t seen in awhile.

You don’t have to go to conference to experience God, however when you are surrounded by thousands of women who are hungry for God.. His presence.. His wonder and promises, something shifts and there is an overwhelming sense of His love.

One amazing project that we have in the Expo is the Tembaletu (meaning “Our Hope”) Workshop. This workshop offers skills training and a safe working environment for physically challenged people living in Gugulethu and the surrounding areas of Cape Town. Each bag is unique, and hand woven by these remarkable people and the proceeds are there’s to keep. It truly is quality work. It’s great how we are rallying around this as a Sisterhood and showing our support to this cause.

I have found out both through Colour and serving, that God truly meets us where we are. Through interaction and engagement with others, I have been moved and personally touched by divine appointments and conversations. It’s been a clear reminder that God is everywhere; in the hallways, in the foyer, and in the food court – not just in the auditorium.

“Surely the Lord is in this place, and I was not aware of it.” – Genesis 28:16

Love, Juliette
